A CENTERPIECE FOR YOUR STORY

Made for the moment
you will remember forever.

A wedding cake has a way of drawing everyone in. It stands at the center of the room while friends and family arrive, catches the eye in photographs and becomes the place people gather when it is time for that first sweet slice. The right cake can carry the colors, textures and feeling of your wedding without taking the attention away from the two people it is celebrating.

Ms. Myrtle’s Bakery brings a personal, family-rooted approach to Houston weddings. Whether your plans are intimate and simple, full of tradition or beautifully detailed from top tier to table linen, the conversation begins with what feels like you. Bring your ideas, your inspiration and the way you want your guests to feel when they see the cake waiting for them.

A CAKE THAT FITS THE DAY

Start with the feeling you want to share.

Classic and intimate

A smaller celebration can still have a cake with presence. A graceful tiered design gives a dinner, chapel ceremony or close family gathering a beautiful centerpiece without asking the table to do too much.

Flowers, color, texture, monograms and meaningful finishing touches can bring your vision into focus. A custom conversation leaves room for the details that make the cake feel connected to your day.

Ready to serve the room

When the guest list grows, a kitchen cake can help you offer more servings while the decorated cake stays true to the size and style you love for the display.

A THOUGHTFUL WAY TO BEGIN

Bring the details
that matter to you.

You do not need every choice made before you reach out. A few helpful details make it easier to start the conversation and find the right direction together.

  1. Share your date and guest count.Let the bakery know when and where you are celebrating, along with the number of guests you hope to serve.
  2. Bring your inspiration.Photos, florals, invitations, colors, fabric swatches and venue details can all help shape a cake that feels at home in your wedding.
  3. Choose the kind of experience you want.A consultation and tasting can help you talk through the cake in person, while a custom sketch gives a design conversation more definition.
  4. Plan the serving moment.Decide whether the cake will serve every guest on its own or whether a kitchen cake will help carry the celebration across a larger table.

WEDDING CAKE COLLECTIONS

A starting point
for every kind of table.

Every celebration has its own rhythm, from a close gathering to a full room ready for dinner and dancing. These collections offer a clear place to begin when you are thinking about tier size, servings and the kind of centerpiece that suits your plans.

For a wedding with a larger guest list, a kitchen cake can be a practical companion to the decorated display cake. You can keep the visible cake at the tier size and style you love, then add the servings that help everyone enjoy a slice. It is a simple way to protect the look of the centerpiece while keeping the table generous.

PLAN WITH CONFIDENCE

Give your wedding cake
the time it deserves.

Specialty and wedding orders should be placed at least 60 days before the wedding. That lead time protects the care and attention a wedding centerpiece deserves, while giving you a clear window to make decisions with less last-minute pressure. A 50% non-refundable deposit reserves the order, and the remaining balance is due 14 business days before the wedding.

When the cake needs to arrive ready for its place in the room, delivery is available across Greater Houston. Delivery and setup begin at $50. Sunday and holiday delivery is $200. Bringing delivery into the conversation early helps make sure the plan for the cake fits smoothly with the rhythm of the venue, the timeline and the people setting the room.

There is room for the cake to be elegant without feeling distant. Fondant-covered tiers, handmade sugar flowers, ruffles, lace, textured finishes, metallic accents, monograms and custom toppers can all become part of a Signature Collection design. The goal is not to make every wedding cake look alike. It is to make your cake feel at home in the celebration you have chosen.

Some couples arrive with a full mood board. Others have a color palette, a few saved images or only a feeling they want the day to hold. All of those are useful places to begin. Share what matters most, from the size of the gathering to the details that have stayed with you, and let the conversation build a clear path toward the cake at the center of your table.
